BIDDICAR

Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

Built to be Fair

Biddicar is built to protect both buyers and sellers equally. All bids are binding, and sellers are required to complete the sale once the reserve price is met. These terms explain how that is enforced.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using Biddicar, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. We may update these terms occasionally and will notify you of material changes.

2. Platform role

Biddicar is a controlled marketplace that connects sellers and buyers, providing identity verification, listing approval, transaction rooms, and dispute review. We do not own the vehicles listed, but we do oversee the transaction process to protect both parties.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and able to enter legally binding contracts. You must provide accurate and truthful information. Creating multiple accounts to evade penalties is prohibited.

4. Seller listing rules

  • Sellers must upload vehicle ownership document, civil ID, and VIN before publishing.
  • All listings undergo admin review before bidding opens. This may take up to 24 hours.
  • Sellers must accurately disclose vehicle condition, mileage, and any damage, liens, or restrictions.
  • Sellers may not bid on their own car, nor collude with other bidders to inflate the price.

5. Reserve price & binding sale

The reserve price is auto-calculated at 90% of the Buy Now price. This is the threshold at which the sale becomes binding.

  • If the reserve price is met, the seller is legally bound to complete the sale to the winning bidder.
  • If the reserve price is not met, the auction ends without a winner. The seller may relist.

6. Bidding rules

  • All bids are binding. They cannot be retracted after submission.
  • Bidders must verify their phone number before placing their first bid.
  • When placing your first bid on an auction, a refundable deposit is locked. The amount is calculated based on the car price according to the published deposit schedule.
  • Biddicar sets a maximum deposit cap. Losing bidders deposits are released automatically.

7. Buyer obligations

  • If you win an auction at or above the reserve price, you must pay the seller within 72 hours of close.
  • You must attend the official handover meeting within the specified timeframe, typically 7 days.
  • Failure to pay results in deposit forfeiture and a decrease in your account standing. Repeated defaults may result in suspension.

8. Seller obligations

  • By publishing a listing, you agree to a binding sale if the reserve price is met.
  • You may not complete the sale outside Biddicar after the auction has started. Bypassing the platform is a policy violation.
  • The vehicle delivered must match the listing description. Misrepresentation is subject to review and penalties.
  • Failing to complete the sale after the reserve is met results in forfeiture of your commitment deposit (30 JOD default), with 20 JOD compensated to the buyer and the remainder to Biddicar.

9. Transaction & escrow flow

After winning an auction, a "Transaction Room" tracks every step through to closure:

  1. Winner confirmed
  2. Buyer deposit locked
  3. Contact info revealed
  4. Seller documents verified
  5. Full buyer payment confirmed
  6. Meeting scheduled
  7. Vehicle inspected at handover
  8. Ownership transferred at traffic department
  9. Seller payout released
  10. Transaction closed

10. Communication

An in-app chat is provided for every transaction. For your protection and for dispute resolution purposes, we recommend keeping all communication on the platform. Admins retain access to review messages if a dispute is opened.

11. Disputes

Either party may open a dispute while a transaction is in progress. A Biddicar admin will review the evidence (chat history, handover photos, uploaded documents) and issue a decision within 48 hours.

Possible outcomes:

  • In favor of buyer — buyer deposit refunded, seller commitment forfeited.
  • In favor of seller — buyer deposit forfeited, seller commitment released.
  • Split — both partially at fault. 50% buyer deposit refunded, seller commitment forfeited.
  • Cancel — no fault on either side. Refund everything.

12. Reputation & Trusted badge

Successful and failed transactions are tracked on your profile. After completing 3 successful transactions, you earn the "Trusted" badge displayed on your profile and bid listings. Repeated defaults may result in account suspension.

13. Bypassing the platform

Completing transactions outside Biddicar after an auction has started is prohibited. Parties who do so lose Biddicar protections and may have their account suspended.

14. Limitation of liability

Biddicar provides the platform as is. We are not liable for mechanical defects, legal liabilities, or data loss arising from interactions between parties. Always verify the vehicle yourself before closing.

15. Account suspension

Biddicar reserves the right to suspend accounts for violations of these terms, fraud, or behavior that harms platform trust. Suspended accounts are notified via email.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Disputes will be resolved in Amman, Jordan.
