Is Biddicar free to use?+
Yes — creating an account and listing a car is currently free.
How does bidding work?+
You set a Buy Now price and the auction starts at 80% of that. Bidders compete until either the auction ends or the Buy Now price is reached, which triggers an instant win.
What is anti-snipe protection?+
If a bid is placed in the final 2 minutes, the auction is extended by 2 more minutes. This prevents last-second sniping and ensures fair competition.
How does auto-bidding (proxy bidding) work?+
Set your secret maximum and we will bid on your behalf in the smallest increments needed to keep you on top — without revealing your max to other bidders.
Can I retract a bid?+
No. All bids are binding the moment they are placed.
How does payment work?+
Currently, the seller and buyer arrange payment and pickup directly. We are evaluating built-in escrow for the future.
How do I become a verified seller?+
Email hello@biddicar.com to request verification. After review, a blue ✓ badge will appear next to your name.
